A family-owned and run business based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Valli Forecourts operates 16 forecourts and convenience stores across England. They employ over 250 staff and serve more than 200,000 customers every week.
Valli Forecourts found themselves particularly hard hit by Drive-Offs, resulting in weekly losses across their portfolio of sites. They turned to VARS Technology to help.
VARS Technology’s forecourt protection solution was rolled out across the entire Valli estate. This market-lead- ing technology protects sites from Drive-offs using a national blacklist of vehicles known to have stolen fuel. When drive offs still happen, VARS pursues offenders for the full value of the stolen fuel, with more than 80% of fuel losses recovered.
An additional challenge for Valli Forecourts was keeping the limited parking they had available on their sites available for paying customers. The VARS ANPR system is also used to manage parking on-site, allowing Valli Forecourts to control the amount of time that drivers can remain parked and generating a new revenue stream for the business.
