The VARS Technology facial recognition system was developed to help provide the same level of protection for forecourt customers in-store that our ANPR systems provide at the pumps. Since then, it has been adopted by a broad range of retailers and other sectors looking to protect their staff, customers and stock from repeat offenders.

How it Works
Staff can use the VARS tablet to quickly and easily submit new individuals to the watchlist. These submissions are carefully reviewed and approved by the VARS team to ensure that individuals are only added correctly, fairly and accurately.
VARS Face has consistently reduced levels of theft and aggressive or anti-social behaviour in locations where it is installed. While initially introduced for retails, it has also been successful in the hospitality and leisure sector.
